We have an exciting opportunity for a highly self-motivated individual that is people and service focused. Someone who gets it right first time, shows passion in their work and has the “Can Do” spirit that made DHL world leading in Logistics. You will be working alongside the highly skilled and respected Logistics team based at East Midlands Airport, on a rotating day/night roster, with weekend shifts included.
The Role: As a Stores Inspector you will be responsible for the receipt, control, storage, issue and shipping of aircraft parts. You will be required to maintain accurate stock data on the company computer based stock control system and maintain company storage facilities to a standard acceptable to the Company and Regulatory Authorities.
The Requirements:
- Previous experience within a similar role would be desirable.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Full UK driving licence and valid passport, with fork lift truck licence being an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge of working procedures relating to the acceptance and storage of aeronautical parts would be an advantage.
- To hold five GCSE’s – 9-4/A-C (or equivalent) including Maths and English.

- Strong administration skills with good attention to detail and the ability to adhere to policies and procedures.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative without supervision.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise own workload.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- First class interpersonal skills with the ability to interface between departments and to communicate effectively at all levels.
- The ability to multi task and to work effectively under pressure to tight deadlines is essential.
