About the program: The Deutsche Bank Graduate Programme is a year-long comprehensive programme designed to provide you with exposure to a range of fascinating projects and ongoing professional and technical training to develop the skills you need to grow your career. You’ll feel supported by a network of peers and mentors and benefit from our global wellbeing programme.

About the business division: The Private Bank combines Deutsche Bank’s private clients business in Germany and its international business with private and commercial clients together with Wealth Management in a single division. In both the domestic German market and worldwide the Private Bank provides high-quality advice to over 20 million clients and a broad range of financial services in 19 countries – ranging from day-to-day banking services right through to advisory services for sophisticated Private Banking and Wealth Management clients.

Division specifics about the graduate role: Our 12-month Graduate Programme is characterized by a focus on our product areas for private and wealth customers. You will benefit from structured learning opportunities and clear career planning. You will get to know our bank's products and support us in further developing our offerings. Immerse yourself in different product teams that are substantial for helping our customers achieve their financial goals and optimize their opportunities. This gives you a broad overview of all facets of private bank, including wealth management. By developing individual solutions, you will expand your analytical and advisory skills and gain extensive experience in dealing with internal and external customer requests. You will learn from the best, develop professionally and personally, and create a solid foundation for your professional career.

What we look for: We recruit students and graduates who are intelligent and adaptable with excellent communication skills. They have degrees in many different disciplines. Even though good levels of numeracy are important for some roles, you won’t necessarily need a formal mathematical or financial background. Our comprehensive training programme will give you all the technical knowledge you’ll need to build a career with us.

To be eligible for the 2025 Graduate Programme you must:

  • Complete your studies (all final exams, coursework and have no outstanding requirements for graduation) between 1st January 2024 and 31st July 2025.
  • Be able to start full time work in July 2025, subject to local working legislation and visa requirements.
  • You should also be on track for a 2:1 or First (or equivalent) in your undergraduate degree.
  • Possess no more than 12 months full-time, relevant work experience.
