An exciting and meaningful role within the important and growing Wealth Management segment of Deutsche Bank United Kingdom (UK). You will be part of a team across the United States (US) & Europe International (EI) region covering Sanctions topic together for the region. The team will liaise with the central team to bring the Sanctions policies and MI up to date and maintain. Your goal is to successfully identify and investigate any sanctions relevant issues and bring to a resolution together with the Central Sanctions team, CLM team, Anti Financial Crime and Relationship Managers throughout the lifecycle of the client’s relationship.

Your Key Responsibilities
- The point of contact for all Sanctions queries related to US & EI providing support on sanction related audit tasks.
- Ensure prompt identification, escalation, and action of Sanctions risks and assist the Team Head Sanctions.
- Support the bank’s transaction filtering system and alerts, support the IT teams for UAT tasks/any other IT tasks from a Subject Matter Expert perspective.
- Liaise closely with the central team on policy maintenance and other Sanctions matters.
- Project involvement from a Sanctions perspective and prepare MI and reporting for local forum, Group and Regulator on a regular basis and for ad-hoc requests.
- Manage frozen/blocked accounts and interaction with the Regulators.
Your Skills And Experience
- Relevant professional experience in a comparable position in the areas of Sanctions Compliance including investigation knowledge and handling and closure of transaction filtering and name list screening alerts.
- Experience within the area of Anti Financial Crime, Sanctions and Embargoes and knowledge of national and international regulations related to Sanctions and Embargoes.
- Excellent data and analytical skills combined with the ability to interpret and draw conclusions from big data sets.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to influence across local globally dispersed teams.
