Fixed Income and Currencies (FIC) Technology delivers solutions for the front-office trading across key asset classes. We build solutions for our Sales and Trading community to help communicate, price, execute and risk manage trading products with Deutsche Bank's clients.
As Lead Technology Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and driving the technology strategy of this area aligning with the Bank wide strategy, setting technology plans, standards, architecture, financials, risk management as well as managing the team and deliveries to multiple functions.
This role has two key products to manage:
- A real-time platform for "ready to trade".
- A front(sales)-to-back(ops) platform for viewing and workflow of our trade lifecycle.

Your key responsibilities:
- Agree and structure the book of work for the two products within this role.
- Hands-on build out and leadership of engineering teams, ensuring our platforms meet all delivery, performance, security and audit requirements.
- Build working relationships with stakeholders globally including: business, technology, ops, control functions.
- Define and drive towards a target technology architecture for the products, using cloud-first Google Cloud Platform (GCP) where we can.
- Maintain and improve stability in production environment through engineering, working closely with support teams.
- Working in close partnership with other technology teams to maximise the shared technology product roadmap, drive synergies, simplification, and efficiencies.
Your skills and experience:
- A strong, detailed, technology leadership background in a Front Office Technology environment.
- Previous relevant experience in building large scale and complicated systems in a front-office environment.
- Good understanding of the financial products and their pricing methodologies. Strong architecture and design skills.
- Business Advisory and influencing capabilities that support decision making in strategy and direction.
- Experience in multiple programming languages, cloud technologies and User Information technologies.
- Experience building technical and product focused direction, teams.
