Group Strategic Analytics (GSA) is part of Group Chief Operation Office (COO) which acts as the bridge between the Bank’s businesses and infrastructure functions to help deliver the efficiency, control, and transformation goals of the Bank. You will play a pivotal role in implementing and evolving Deutsche Bank’s client strategy data and visualization platform. This involves delivering a high-performance visualization and workflow platform that provides intuitive reports and insights from descriptive and predictive analytics on Deutsche Bank's clients, their performance, and emerging opportunities. You will be instrumental in translating complex data into actionable business intelligence.
Your key responsibilities:
- Design and implement end-to-end web-based visualization solutions for client profitability metrics, supporting both the Corporate Bank and Investment Bank.
- Develop and embed sophisticated analytics visualizations directly into business workflows to enhance decision-making.
- Engineer robust workflows for efficient data capture from end-users, ensuring data integrity and usability.
- Design and maintain scalable data ingestion and processing pipelines using Python (Pandas) and SQL, ensuring data availability for analytics.
- Connect and collaborate with diverse business stakeholders to define and refine reporting requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
Your skills and experience:
- 5+ years of experience delivering advanced web-based visualization solutions, ideally within financial services.
- Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas) for data manipulation and SQL for database interaction.
- Solid understanding of user experience (UX) principles and design best practices for data applications.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Apache Superset or Tableau is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and foster collaborative partnerships across teams.
- University degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
