Position Overview
Our Foreign Exchange (FX) Technology team are working with cutting-edge technology to support a top 3 leadership position of Deutsche Bank in Foreign Exchange space. You’ll be working with the technology supporting our award-winning Autobahn platform to greatly enhance our client’s product experience, re-engineer parts of our orders offering with strong performance, flexibility and uncompromising quality in mind as well as help driving AI adoption across our electronic trading ecosystem.
You will be working at the heart of the platform with technologies ranging from electronic Application programming interfaces and order ingestion, order routing and order management, smart order execution and Direct Market Access offering transforming both client experience and enabling faster pace of technology change. As part of this role, you will be working directly with product owners and business desks to define, design and execute the implementation plans as well as developing longer term technology roadmap for order management technology evolution.
Your key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product and trading partners to create a perfect technology solution for FX clients’ needs
- Manage implementation efforts across the Autobahn technology stack, driving excellence in architectural design and delivery
- Investing in automated testing and smart test-driven development
- Performance research and ability to apply out of the box thinking to develop highly performant technology solutions
- Clear and concise documentation and roadmaps shared both within technology and with business partners
Your skills and experience:
- Excellent knowledge of core Java platform
- Experience in performance optimisation of multi-threaded Java applications or a familiarity with no-GC Java coding is a plus
- Solid experience implementing order management/order routing infrastructure for any electronic trading product (FX, Rates, Equity or Listed Derivs)
- Experience with development of fault-tolerant transaction management architectures
- Experience with test-driven development and ability to design efficient fast-paced development setups resulting in high quality delivery outcomes
