You will play a key role in the transformation of Rates and Credit Fixed Income front-office technology landscape. As part of our multi-year platform modernisation project, you will be responsible for designing, architecting and building a suite of new, real-time, high-performance applications supporting various trading workflows for our growing business. You will be involved in architecting solutions across the stack, encouraging best practices, integrating AI in the design and development workflows, and working closely with Business stakeholders to build a maintainable, operationally efficient and scalable platform to last the next decade.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Lead a Global Engineering Organisation – Manage and develop a global team of senior engineers, fostering a high-performance culture and building future technical leaders through coaching and continuous upskilling.
  • Define and Drive Pricing Platform Strategy – set the strategic direction for Rates and Credit pricing and analytics platforms, driving scalable, resilient, and high-performance architectures aligned to business goals.
  • Lead AI-Driven Engineering Transformation – embed AI across the engineering lifecycle to improve delivery speed, quality, automation, observability, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with Senior Business and Quantitative Stakeholders – work closely with trading, quant, sales, and product leaders to shape priorities, influence roadmaps, and deliver business value.
  • Drive Pricing Architecture Modernisation – modernise legacy pricing infrastructure, simplify architecture, and accelerate adoption of distributed, cloud-native, and engineering best practices.
  • Ensure Platform Performance and Stability – oversee platform reliability, scalability, and operational resilience through proactive monitoring, performance optimisation, and continuous improvement.

Your skills and experience:

  • Extensive experience building and steering high-performing engineering organisations across multiple regions.
  • Strong knowledge of pricing engines, analytics frameworks, and distributed compute architectures within front-office environments.
  • Deep understanding of Rates, Credit, bond pricing, market data, and trading workflows.
  • Experience designing low-latency, scalable, event-driven platforms supporting compute-intensive workloads.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate complex technical challenges into business outcomes.
  • Proven track record modernising business-critical platforms and driving adoption of modern engineering practices and technologies.
  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
