Corporate Title: Vice President

GSA is part of Group Chief Operation Office (COO) which acts as the bridge between the Bank's businesses and infrastructure functions to help deliver the efficiency, control, and transformation goals of the Bank. You will join the RFT DDO in GSA and will be part of the team responsible for the data strategy across these business domains. You will focus on the management of change-the-bank activities to improve our data capabilities to meet recently revised regulatory and internal policies and standards. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with various groups who actively originate and consume data, including business lines, infrastructure functions and large-scale change programmes.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Leading several data strategy projects including related governance and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
  • Identify and oversee delivery of relevant data priorities in partnership with Divisional & Regional Stakeholders.
  • Monitor data management related regulatory changes and gap analysis to Deutsche Bank processes.
  • Drive implementation of Data Quality Control Framework to ensure completeness / accuracy / timeliness for the RFT mandated scope of data, ensuring compliance with Strategic Data KPIs.
  • Identify most critical and strategic data at the most granular level to be brought under governance and facilitate right sourcing via strategic platforms.
  • Manage relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholder groups, representing the RFT data strategy and DDO function.

Your skills and experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in Banking, ideally data-management / modelling related roles within Risk, Finance and Treasury domains.
  • Experience of managing complex change programmes (ideally cross-divisional and cross-location).
  • Strong Business / Data Analysis Skills: ability to investigate granular data, perform attribute level data tracing from calculation / reporting applications to originating source applications.
  • Ideally experienced in the usage of Industry standard data management tools such as Collibra and Solidatus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain complex requirements in an easily understandable and effective way.
  • Desirable skills: Python coding or SQL.
