Corporate Title: Analyst
Investment Banking and Capital Markets (IBCM) aims to build long‐term, trusted, and mutually beneficial relationships with the major corporates, financial institutions, financial sponsors and sovereigns around the world. Working in the Investment Banking Capital Markets Environmental, Social & Governance Implementation and Transformation team, you will be a core part of the implementation, reporting and governance of sustainability topics impacting both clients and Deutsche Bank alike, with an acute Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) focus across Debt Capital Markets, Leveraged Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, Investment Banking and Mergers & Acquisition (M&A).
In this role, you will be able to demonstrate a dynamic ability to learn new topics in the rapidly developing sector of sustainability, show acumen for implementing robust governance, and deliver on your ability to link ESG‐related regulatory requirements in the day‐to‐day tasks. You will have the opportunity to manage project deliverables and have ownership of transformational topics, specifically within transition finance and net zero. A key feature of the role is close cross‐divisional collaboration with all IBCM business units, as well as with the Chief Sustainability Office, IBCM and Global Communication teams, and the Chief Financial Office.

Your key responsibilities
- Deliver ESG content, analysis, and reporting to key internal stakeholders, working closely with the IBCM ESG Implementation and Transformation (I&T) Lead, having visibility on strategic topics at Investment Bank (IB) Senior Management level, contribute to establishing product and process governance related to ESG within the business.
- Perform analysis for themes across transition finance, sustainable finance, and net zero.
- Work closely IBCM ESG Strategy on sustainable finance reporting and management performance presentations.
- Serve as point for coordination with Chief Security Officer and Chief Financial Officer on sustainable and transition finance reporting.
Your skills and experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, candidate would be expected to establish longstanding relationships across Deutsche Bank.
- Strong analytical and data skills.
- A broad understanding of the IB product offering and the broader ESG trends impacting financing and advisory businesses.
- Experience working under pressure and delivering exceptional results, acute attention to detail, exceptional time management and prioritisation skills and a self‐starter.
- Quick learner and ability to derive key takeaways of recent business trends in context of relevance for IBCM, strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with the ability to create flexible analysis.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification and/or work experience, German language skills advantageous.
