Group Strategic Analytics (GSA) is part of Group Chief Operation Office (COO) which acts as the bridge between the Bank’s businesses and infrastructure functions to help deliver the efficiency, control, and transformation goals of the Bank.

You will be joining the FX Strats team. You will be a part of the group of experts in quantitative analytics and engineers with deep knowledge in foreign exchange trading, mathematical models, system design and programming, who are working to support the trading desks and design the future of the business. You will work on the trading floor with traders, defining new products or model improvements, drive the implementation effort with developers in FX Technology and manage deliveries.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Providing daily quantitative and analytical support to the FX business and the FX Forwards trading desk
  • Work collaboratively and in close partnership with Trading, Structuring, Sales, Technology and Operations to drive the build-out of FX derivatives strategic analytics platforms
  • Developing FX Derivatives products, pricing and risk analytics and platforms
  • Analysis, design, and development of tactical and strategic tools for FX derivatives desk
  • A key focus on business-driven opportunities and bringing innovative and quantitative ideas together to solve complex problems for the desk

Your skills and experience:

  • Excellent quantitative, modelling, pricing and risk management skills, demonstrated within a financial services environment
  • Excellent understanding of FX and Rates linear derivatives and models
  • Experience in FX e-trading automation
  • Knowledge of front-office risk and profit and loss (P&L) calculation with Investment Banking Front-Office application delivery experience
  • Good programming skills, preferably with C++ or Python
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain complex requirements in an easily understandable and effective way
