You will join the BLAFC team. The team delivers Financial Crime advice, including AML, to the business and receives escalations from the business for review and resolution ensuring Deutsche Bank complies with applicable AFC legislation/regulation and its global Policies and Procedures. We are looking for a pro-active, dynamic professional adept at prioritizing and completing complex projects to join the BLFC team.

Your key responsibilities:
- Support BLAFC CB/IB UK Leads in managing the regional function and act as an additional senior point of escalation.
- Provide additional oversight and global coordination for Financial Crime matters as they relate to Fixed Income & Currencies (FIC), Trust & Securities Services (TSS).
- Managing and Coordinating the BLAFC submissions into the relevant senior business governance forums pertinent to IB/CB products and coverage.
- Provide guidance to the business on strategic product, client or other business initiatives within the UK, and globally.
- Provide the Second Line Of Defence (2LOD) oversight and check and challenge to the design and operational effectiveness of the First Line OF Defence (1LOD) owned financial crime risk controls.
- Act as a senior point of escalation for activities pertaining to CB & IB UK and globally and establish efficient communication with business stakeholders and AFC globally to foster strong partnerships.
- BLAFC Subject Matter Expert support for the core 2LoD risk assessment and management processes, such as the Financial Crime Risk Assessment, Client Risk Rating and other initiatives.
Your skills and experience:
- Extensive experience in AFC Business Advisory across Corporate and Investment Banking products. Prior experience with FinTech and Digital Assets is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of AML regulation, regulatory expectations and AFC landscape in Germany, UK and United States (US).
- Ability to analyse, rationalise, make recommendations and drive 2LOD engagement on complex, multi-product and multi-regional AFC matters to senior business and AFC stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate with colleagues across divisions and seniority.
- Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to collaborate and partner together with peers across the organisation globally.
