You will join the team as Sanctions Escalations Manager, under the Sanctions Programme, reporting into the Head of Sanctions Escalations Management, responsible for decisioning sanctions escalations globally.

Your key responsibilities
- Management of all types of sanctions escalations received globally and across all business units.
- Support the Head of Sanctions Escalations Management to identify opportunities to enhance escalation processes.
- Support the enhancement of escalation management with the aim to simplify processes and drive efficiency.
- Support development of future state escalation interaction model with Sanctions Advisory and other stakeholders.
Your skills and experience
- Demonstrable experience within AFC Sanctions & Screening, Compliance and Operations in a global financial institution or equivalent preferably with experience across multiple regimes, with experience in leading / contributing to the design of Sanctions related processes.
- Experience of working with Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to deliver business solutions preferred.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently to creatively assess and identify gaps and present solutions to Capability Lead.
- Strong sense of urgency, be able to think beyond the initial set of facts or issues and have a strong orientation for probing for less than apparent solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, tailor content and approach specifically to the audience.
- Bachelor’s Degree with background in Finance and relevant sanctions compliance qualification from an internationally recognised body.
