Overview

We are seeking a Business Functional & Data Analyst to join our Technology Data & Innovation (TDI) team within the Risk, Finance, Treasury (RFT) – Accounting Domain. The role involves working on strategic data initiatives, leading business and product onboarding onto critical platforms in the Accounting architecture, supporting existing users with process improvements, and conducting discovery analysis for new demands.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end data analysis, including data sourcing, validation, and reporting
• Partner with Finance, Risk, and Treasury teams to analyze requirements and translate them into business processes
• Collaborate with IT to specify and ensure correct technical implementation of requirements
• Understand banking products, business content, and reporting requirements, including data sourcing and modeling within technical frameworks

Key Responsibilities

• Design and customize accounting components
• Business data modeling and impact analysis
• Analyze data trends in high-volume datasets
• Support finance and operations teams with critical issue resolution
• Define and document requirements
• Assist with user acceptance testing

Skills and Experience

• Strong analytical skills with experience in high-volume data environments (Essential)
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel (Essential)
• Additional skills in Python and people management are beneficial
• Experience in financial control within investment banking
• Knowledge of investment banking products and accounting standards
• Understanding of front-to-back system architecture in investment banking
