The Deutsche Bank Graduate Programme is a year-long comprehensive programme designed to provide you with exposure to a range of fascinating projects and ongoing professional and technical training to develop the skills you need to grow your career. Our Origination and Advisory business provides the full range of advisory and financing products and services of a leading global investment bank. Our clients include large-cap and mid-cap corporates, financial institutions, governments, government agencies and financial sponsors.
About the role
As an O&A Graduate, you’ll work on projects to help our clients reach their financial goals. Your day-to-day tasks may vary depending on your business area, but Analyst responsibilities typically include:
- Performing in-depth company and industry research and analysis
- Supporting the execution of client advisory and financial transactions, managing multiple projects
- Preparing marketing materials and transaction documentation, including but not limited to confidential memoranda, board papers, pitch books, corporate profiles, and analysis
- Conducting detailed financial modelling, valuation and forecasting of financial statements
- Broking activities—supporting public clients through market analysis, investor materials, and engagement, to build a strong understanding of how mid- and large-cap companies enhance valuations, access capital, and pursue strategic opportunities.
- Working with the Equity Sales and Research teams, to service public clients to track and win IPO opportunities.
- Understanding of the Bank’s product suite

What we look for

- A strong foundational knowledge and interest in Corporate Finance and Accounting
- Confident, constructive and effective communication skills

- An interest and ability to work collaboratively across the Deutsche Bank platform and global teams in support of our clients
A formal mathematical or financial background isn’t required. Our comprehensive training programs will provide you technical skills you’ll need to build a career with us.
To be eligible for the 2026 Graduate Program
- Complete your studies (all final exams, coursework and have no outstanding requirements for graduation) between 1st January 2025 and 31st July 2026.
- Be able to start full time work in July 2026, subject to local working legislation and visa requirements.
- You should also be on track for a 2:1 or First (or equivalent) in your undergraduate degree.
- Possess no more than 12 months full-time, relevant work experience.
- For some placements within Origination and Advisory, in addition to English, fluency in a European language is desirable.
