As a Mobility Site Reliability Engineer on our End User Computing team, you will be a key member of the team making the bank’s hybrid working model possible. You will ensure the stability of Mobile Device Management platforms like Microsoft Intune to enable our colleagues to work from anywhere.
As a skilled member of a global team, you will partner with your engineering and product colleagues inside and outside your core team to detect and respond to issues, prepare and execute Disaster Recovery plans, and plan and implement safe scalable changes in a blend of Agile ceremonies and ITILv4 process.
Your responsibilities:
- Respond to user and platform incidents for our mobile device platforms in ServiceNow with an engineering mindset — assess root cause to prevent recurrence by drafting knowledge, automation, or recommending product enhancements.
- Develop strategies to detect and respond to issues on our platforms, provide self-healing or self-service options for impacted end-users, and consumable technical and end-user knowledge for the platform.
- Share and exchange knowledge with your squad mates and support teams across the bank to enable continuous learning and better incident response.
- Plan and deploy changes safely — understand proposed changes, risks, mitigation strategies, and whether CI/CD pipelines can be built for repeatable changes.
- Participate in daily huddles and agile ceremonies with your squad to coordinate and plan.
Your skills and experience:
- Demonstrable experience at Level 2 or 3 supporting end-user devices on the Apple iOS platform.
- Demonstrable experience supporting, implementing, or engineering Mobile Device Management platforms such as Airwatch, MobileIron, JAMF, or Intune at Level 2 or 3.
- Demonstrable understanding of the basics of Microsoft Entra ID.
- Demonstrable understanding of Site Reliability Engineering concepts.
