On behalf of Deutsche Bank, we are looking for an IT Auditor for a 50 day contract based remotely within the UK.
Purpose of the role: We are seeking an experienced IT Auditor to support the delivery of infrastructure-focused audit activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned audit professional with strong IT General Controls (ITGC) experience and a background in reviewing core technology and operational controls. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of IT control environments across infrastructure, physical security, and operational processes.
What you'll do:
- Execute IT audits focused on infrastructure and IT General Controls (ITGCs).
- Assess the design and effectiveness of controls across key technology processes.
- Review and evaluate Change Management controls and procedures.
- Assess Incident Management processes and governance.
- Conduct Access Management reviews to ensure appropriate user access controls are in place.
- Participate in physical security and data centre audits.
- Evaluate control environments against established audit standards and best practices.
- Document findings, risks, and recommendations clearly and effectively.
- Collaborate with audit stakeholders and management teams to support audit delivery.
The skills you'll need:
- 5-10 years of experience in IT Audit.
- Strong experience performing IT General Controls (ITGC) reviews.
- Experience auditing infrastructure environments.
- Knowledge of physical security testing and data centre audits.
- Practical experience reviewing Change Management processes, Incident Management processes, and Access Management controls.
- A good understanding of network infrastructure and database environments.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in regulated or complex technology environments.
