Structured Lender – Wealth Management and Business Lending (Vice President)
Role overview
The position sits within the Subscription Finance/Structured Lending team supporting both Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC) client activity.
The role is for an experienced structuring professional responsible for underwriting, structuring and managing subscription finance and other complex lending transactions.

- Your key responsibilities
- Underwrite subscription finance facilities through detailed analysis of Limited Partner (LP) investor bases, fund structures and legal frameworks.
- Support the structuring and execution of tailored financing solutions, including complex or non‑standard transactions involving large exposures, policy exceptions or concentrated risks, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external counsel through to deal closing.
- Work with the Portfolio Management team to monitor ongoing facilities, including borrowing base compliance, investor events (defaults, exclusions, transfers) and fund performance.
- Identify emerging risks, elevate where appropriate and manage amendments, waivers and refinancing processes within a controlled governance framework.
- Work closely with Coverage, Credit Risk, Legal and Operations teams, as well as external clients and sponsors, to ensure efficient transaction execution and high‑quality client delivery.
- Contribute to the development of structured lending capabilities, including enhancements to underwriting standards, credit processes and product frameworks.
Qualifications and experience
- Strong experience in structured lending, subscription finance, or adjacent financial sponsor/fund financing activities.
- Proven ability to analyse complex credit exposures, including fund structures and investor bases.
- Experience structuring transactions with appropriate risk mitigants (covenants, diversification, legal protections).
- Strong understanding of credit risk principles, regulatory considerations and internal governance frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a global, cross‑functional environment with senior stakeholders.
- Degree level education (preferably in Finance, Economics or a related discipline) or equivalent qualification and/or work experience.
