Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new functionality using modern Web UI technologies such as React and TypeScript.
  • Ideally capable of coding in Java as well.
  • Work with team and business partners on functional and non‑functional requirements.
  • Drive best practices in software development, including automated testing, UAT, code reviews, and documentation.
  • Contribute to technical decision‑making.
  • System support on a rota basis (office hours).

Qualifications

  • Experience with modern Web UI technologies like TypeScript and React.
  • Experience with event‑driven microservices using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and relational databases.
  • Strong understanding of asynchronous and event‑driven systems.
  • Knowledge of SDLC tool stack including Linux, Docker, Git, Jira, Maven, etc.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deliver results in iterative cycles.
  • Solid experience with relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.
