About the Team and Clients
Deutsche Bank’s United Kingdom (UK) Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) team, comprised of 14 investment bankers, is a market leading UK TMT franchise, advising approximately 20 listed corporate clients across Technology, Media and Telecommunications. Notable FTSE 350 clients include Auto Trader, Informa, Trustpilot, Bytes and Trainline.
You will be part of the core UK TMT team within Deutsche Numis’ high performing sector coverage franchise and will have additional opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across the wider Deutsche Bank platform, including the EMEA TMT team and specialist product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advice to clients around equity story positioning, fundraising requirements, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and defence advice.
- Support M&A, Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and other transaction processes within the TMT sector, liaising with clients, internal teams, regulators and managing other advisers.
- Conduct client coverage, valuation, financial analysis, modelling, and sector research.
- Develop and maintain pitchbooks and other marketing materials for target corporate clients and financial sponsors.
- Deliver day‑to‑day client service, conveying relevant information clearly in meetings and emails and providing solutions using sector, market and product knowledge.
- Engage with Deutsche Numis equities platform and broader Deutsche Bank platforms to help deliver for our clients.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous full‑time work experience or internships/placements within Investment Banking or Corporate Finance roles preferred.
- Prior experience within TMT sector preferred but not required.
- Strong technical skills including financial analysis, modelling and valuation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to develop creative solutions for clients.
- Partnership‑oriented mindset and a drive for excellence underpinned by strong analytical skills.
