Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of fund and fund entities.
  • Maintain and establish relationships with fund and SPV officers, banks, administrators, legal and tax advisers.
  • Support legal and regulatory compliance functions.
  • Review fund entity management accounts, quarterly NAVs, statutory accounts, VAT, tax returns, FCA and CSSF reports, and liaise with auditors.
  • Implement and maintain operating standards, processes and procedures.
  • Monitor and assess business and regulatory risks.
  • Oversee service providers.
  • Review, approve and ensure consistent application of policy for AIF's NAV.
  • Respond to investor queries.
  • Support launch of new products/funds.
  • Oversee fund corporate administration.
  • Undertake control activities such as bid budgets, fee monitoring, regulatory disclosures.
  • Manage cash, create and maintain fund models forecasting cash flows.
  • Use asset portfolio software to capture asset data.
  • Oversee product accounting, audit and tax reporting processes.
  • Oversee performance measurement and financial reporting.
  • Liaise with deal team to support acquisition of assets, AML/KYC, funding, engagement letters, bid costs, deal closing, conflict clearance.
  • Review NAV on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Produce monthly AUM reporting and review Annex IV returns.

Qualifications

  • Motivated team member with strong attention to detail and analytical, proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexible, collaborative, able to work independently.
  • Ability to communicate issues proactively to direct report.
  • Ability to translate complex situations into succinct action points.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Good overall knowledge of asset management and holding companies.
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA).
  • Experience within alternative investment fund industry and/or financial industry; experience in infrastructure or private equity beneficial.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, power point.
