On behalf of Deutsche Bank, we are looking for a Collateral Management Analyst for an initial 6 month contract based in the bank's Birmingham office on a hybrid working model of 3 days per week in the office and 2 from home, in a PAYE day rate engagement.

The Collateral Management function at Deutsche Bank is responsible for one of the largest, cutting edge, global programs in the market. With collateral assets under management commanding a significant position in the market today, coupled with the explosive growth in demand for our product, the Collateral Management group continues to offer diverse and challenging roles.

Collateral Management is responsible for supporting the collateralisation of the derivatives, repurchase agreements (repo) and foreign exchange (FX) businesses. This global group has offices in the UK, USA, Germany, India and Singapore. Within Birmingham, the collateral department has a wide variety of teams responsible for supporting Cleared OTC, Repo and Structured margining.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily issuance, tracking and settlement of the client margin management process
  • Reconciliation of post settlement system breaks / security fails / nostro breaks
  • Delivering excellent client service to external counterparties and fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Compilation of reporting for management / business stakeholders
  • Ensuring that risk issues are identified escalated
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience of Collateral Management or working within a similar role at another Investment bank or financial institution
  • Able to make decisions independently and solve problems
  • A strong team player and be able to collaborate with other business areas
  • Strong communicator who is able to speak to various levels within the organisation
