Key Responsibilities:
- Check shipping documents (Invoices, Packing Lists) to ensure accuracy and compliance with physical cargo.
- Organize collections, bookings, AWB issuance, and customs declarations.
- Liaise with airlines to negotiate competitive rates and secure space.
- Monitor flight departures and arrivals to ensure timely connections; keep clients informed throughout.
- Pre-alert overseas agents/importers and manage clearance processes.
- Enter shipment data into the company TMS, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Manage financial completeness of files, including accurate invoicing and accruals.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain close communication with clients.
- Support efforts to secure new customers and develop business opportunities for the Airfreight department.
- Assist in preparing quotations and tender responses in line with company standards.
- Assist in researching and identifying key prospects in local, domestic, and international markets.
- Help maintain a pipeline of prospective business and track activity targets.
