About the Role

We are looking for a confident, organised and proactive Club Manager to help manage the day-to-day running of DEUCE Padel. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with people, takes ownership of their responsibilities and is comfortable managing staff, customers, coaches and club activity within a fast-paced sports and hospitality environment. You will be one of the main points of contact for the club and will help ensure the venue is welcoming, organised and running smoothly at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the day-to-day front of house and reception operation
  • Managing, supporting and coordinating front of house and reception staff
  • Helping organise staff rotas, shift cover and daily responsibilities
  • Ensuring staff procedures and standards are being followed
  • Welcoming customers and providing excellent customer service
  • Managing court bookings through Playtomic Manager
  • Handling card and other payment systems
  • Responding to phone, email and general customer enquiries
  • Liaising with coaches and helping manage coaching activity at the club
  • Organising coaching sessions, private lessons and group classes
  • Managing class schedules, availability and player numbers
  • Supporting the promotion and filling of coaching sessions and group classes
  • Managing and supporting club socials, tournaments and events
  • Monitoring bookings and helping ensure sessions are filled
  • Sending reminders and updates through relevant WhatsApp groups
  • Supporting corporate events, group bookings and partnerships
  • Building relationships with local businesses, schools, gyms, sports clubs and community organisations
  • Supporting local outreach and awareness campaigns
  • Managing stock levels and highlighting stock that needs replenishing
  • Ensuring the reception, café and customer areas remain clean, organised and well presented
  • Monitoring court condition and reporting or resolving basic maintenance issues
  • Ensuring opening, closing and end-of-shift procedures are completed correctly
  • Dealing professionally with customer complaints and resolving issues where possible
  • Keeping clear records of enquiries, leads, events and follow-ups
  • Providing management with regular updates on your areas of responsibility

  • Able to remain calm and professional during busy periods

Previous experience in hospitality, leisure, sports facilities, gyms, customer service, retail or team management would be beneficial, although attitude and work ethic are equally important. Knowledge or experience of padel is beneficial but not essential.

Working Hours

This is a full-time position of approximately 35–40 hours per week. The role will require flexibility across the week and may include early mornings, daytime shifts, evenings and weekends. The exact working pattern will be discussed during the interview process.

Salary & Benefits

£27,500–£35,000 per year, depending on experience and suitability for the role. Benefits include:
