DeterTech is seeking a hands‑on Production Manager to join our team leading the manufacturing, assembly and repair processes of our products. As a Production Manager, you will manage a team of technicians, and support staff to ensure that the products and services are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will also work closely with the research and development team to ensure that new products and services are developed in accordance with customer requirements and market trends. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the production and delivery of technical products and services, ensuring that they are produced on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives to ensure that production processes are optimized for efficiency, and that they meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with the research and development team to ensure that new products and services are developed in accordance with customer requirements and market trends.
- Develop and implement production schedules, resource plans, and budgets to ensure that the production team has the necessary resources to meet production targets.
- Monitor and report on production performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective action as required.
- Manage the training and development of production staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out their roles effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure that all production activities are carried out in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, and with all relevant regulatory requirements.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:
Professional experience and qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in production management, with a proven track record of success, preferably in a technology or manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in managing technical production teams, with a track record of delivering products and services on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Experience in developing and implementing production schedules, resource plans, and budgets.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards relevant to the production of technical products and services.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
