Detego Global is seeking a motivated and technically curious Junior DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a software development background who is eager to build expertise in DevOps practices, CI/CD automation, and cloud infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of software development, CI/CD processes, and cloud technologies, along with a passion for automation and building reliable software delivery pipelines. You will work alongside experienced engineers to support the delivery of the Detego platform while developing your skills in a real-world, security-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using Git and Bitbucket Pipelines.
- Support development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Contribute to build systems and strategies that improve productivity and efficiency across the engineering function.
- Help automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools such as Docker, AWS, and Azure.
- Write and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and configuration management tasks.
- Assist with monitoring and troubleshooting application performance and infrastructure issues.
- Support adherence to security and compliance best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging DevOps technologies, applying learning to continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
- Some hands‑on experience in software development, with a basic understanding of build systems and processes.
- Familiarity with C# and/or .NET development.
- Working knowledge of Git for source control, with exposure to Bitbucket Pipelines considered advantageous.
- Basic familiarity with PowerShell or another scripting language.
- Awareness of containerisation technologies such as Docker.
- Some exposure to cloud platforms, including AWS or Azure.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
