At Detectronic, we’re on a mission to help water companies prevent pollution and protect the environment through smart, data-driven solutions. As specialists in wastewater network monitoring, we design and manufacture cutting-edge flow and level monitoring systems.
As our Manufacturing Technician you will support the company’s manufacturing activities. This is a key role to the business in which you will be testing equipment to ensure its compliance with relevant standards and certification before they reach our customers. This role is a ‘hands on’ position with whole business department interaction.
More about the role:
- Complete reports and maintain records of work carried out in accordance with our Business Management Systems (training will be provided).
- Working with Intrinsically Safe Certified Instrumentation is a major function of the role.
- Testing: Electronic, Electrical & Mechanical, using bench and portable test equipment, including Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, Frequency and Counters.
Qualifications
About you:
- Fully conversant with the use of mechanical hand tools.
- Computer literate with Word/Excel/Outlook.
- To have an understanding of Health and Safety.
- Ability to work independently or within a team.
- Right to work in the UK is essential.
