About the role As a Lead, you will work closely with the Manager to support the day-to-day running of the service, while also providing high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex needs. You will lead and support a team of six Floating Support Workers who deliver housing-related support to our customers. Alongside this, you will take responsibility for the housing management of our shared accommodation sites, playing a key role in overseeing daily operations and ensuring the service is delivered to a high standard.
- Provide support around housing challenges, mental health issues, substance misuse issues and other complex needs.
- Assisting with sustaining and securing suitable accommodation.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Developing your networking skills by working in partnership with external agencies.
- Monitoring the safety of the shared accommodation sites including maintenance, fire safety and daily standard checks.
Skills and Experience Needed:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to supervise.
- Ability to assess risk and propose risk management strategies.
- A passion and commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals and promoting independence and wellbeing.
- Organisation and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A non-judgmental and empathetic approach.
