As a Housing and Wellbeing Advisor, you will support customers to improve their wellbeing, strengthen their resilience, and sustain their tenancy. Working directly with individuals, you will take a compassionate, person-centred approach to help them navigate challenges such as housing-related issues, financial pressures, and mental health needs. Your focus will be on enabling customers to access appropriate support, build confidence, and achieve positive, lasting change.

Building strong relationships will be central to this role. You will work collaboratively with customers, colleagues, and external partners to deliver coordinated and meaningful support. Through effective partnership working, you will connect individuals with a wide range of services, including health providers, support agencies, and community organisations, ensuring a joined-up approach that places the customer at the heart of service delivery.

Skills and Experience Needed

We are looking for someone with experience supporting individuals within housing, wellbeing, or community-based settings, who is confident in building strong, trusted relationships with people who may be vulnerable or facing a range of barriers. You will be comfortable working collaboratively with partner organisations, managing a diverse and sometimes complex workload, and communicating with empathy and understanding.

A good understanding of trauma-informed approaches and the challenges that can affect a person’s ability to sustain their home is essential. You will also be confident using digital systems to accurately record information and stay organised in a fast-paced environment. Strong literacy and numeracy skills are important, along with a full driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.

  • £35,040 per annum
  • 26 days holiday, pro rata entitlement plus Bank holidays. Rising to 31 days with an extra day for each full year of service.
