The predicted salary is between 34000 - 45000 £ per year.
You'll be playing a key role in driving the implementation of our new sustainability strategy and our six strategic sustainability ambitions. You'll be coordinating and delivering sustainability reporting activities for the Group and helping to drive improvements in measurement and reporting of our organisation's impact. You'll be raising the profile of sustainability across the Group, collaborating with colleagues at all levels to deliver improved sustainability outcomes. You'll be part of a friendly, supportive, and innovative team with plenty of opportunities to develop your skills and experience.
As Sustainability Officer, you'll take a key role in the Sustainability team. You'll be working closely with colleagues from across the business supporting them to implement our new sustainability strategy and driving meaningful positive change.

- Analytical mindset: You enjoy working with numbers and can break down complex information and data with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Attention to detail: You have a methodical approach and can handle data from multiple sources.
- Communication skills: You can explain often complex technical arrangements and concepts clearly to a range of different stakeholders.
- Confidence to challenge information: You're not afraid to question data and make sure things are correct and make sense.
- Proactive solutions-focused mindset: You enjoy tackling complex challenges and are able to work independently to develop practical, impactful solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects: You are comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, managing expectations, and ensuring key deadlines are met.

What are the pay and benefits:
- Hybrid role based in Cardiff, Newport, or Swansea. Your role will involve working throughout South Wales.
- Working days are predominantly Monday to Friday with the option to work a compressed 9-day fortnight.
- 26 days holiday plus Bank holidays, rising to 31 days with an extra day for each full year of service.
- Maternity & Adoption Leave: 20 weeks.
- Paternity Leave: 3 weeks.
- The exact salary is £39,722 for a 37-hour full-time permanent position.
- Pension Choices: Defined Contribution (DC) Scheme with matched contributions up to 10%. Or Defined Benefit (DB) 1 / 80% of final salary for every year of service.
