Key Responsibilities:
- Sound understanding of freight forwarding operations and logistics capabilities for ocean import & export.
- Ability to interact at all levels.
- Managing reports and providing clients with regular updates on costs, opportunities and contract performance.
- Customs clearance documentation experience would be advantageous.
- Coordinate sea freight quotes and bookings from initial request through to final delivery, selecting the most suitable services and routes.
- Source and review supplier rates from carriers, NVOCCs, co-loaders and overseas agents, ensuring accurate pricing and margins.
