Maintenance Manager - Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Must have proven experience as a Maintenance Manager within a Manufacturing environment
  • Deliver and manage the site maintenance plan, including PPM scheduling and execution
  • Lead or support capex and improvement projects
  • Experienced people manager with the ability to lead and develop engineering teams
  • Manage contractors, service contracts, and external suppliers, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with relevant UK legislation and site standards
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance practices, safety standards, and safe working practices
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, and HSE to deliver site objectives
  • Demonstrable success improving planned maintenance, reducing downtime, and improving reliability metrics
  • Must have strong communication skills and be a confident people manager with proven experience leading teams within a production environment
  • Strong understanding of safe working practices, contractor control, and compliance
