We are looking for a proactive Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team at a fast-paced food manufacturing site. You'll play a key role in ensuring plant, equipment, buildings and services operate safely, efficiently and in full compliance with legislative and food safety standards. This is a hands-on role with strong involvement in planned preventative maintenance, continuous improvement, and project delivery, working closely with operations and external contractors.

Requirements
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer, ideally within food or FMCG manufacturing
- Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and food manufacturing compliance
- At least 3 years' experience in food or a closely related industry
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on production and site equipment
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on food processing and packaging machinery
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and engineering projects
- Ensure all maintenance activities are accurately recorded and documented
- Promote and comply with Health & Safety, Environmental, Food Safety and Quality standards
- Support audits, inspections and loss prevention activities
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency and cost control
