About the company
Our client is a national food manufacturer with eight specialist sites across the UK who is looking to add a Maintenance Engineer. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all plant equipment to ensure the effective and efficient operation of our mill's production and intake systems minimising downtime and supporting business objectives.

- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Maintenance Engineer – Requirements
- A recognised qualification or apprenticeship in both mechanical and electrical engineering.
- Minimum 17th Edition certification.
- Previous experience in an engineering role, preferably within the food or drink sector.
- A strong understanding of safety procedures, quality control, and KPI management.
- The ability to deliver both short-term fixes and long-term engineering solutions.
Maintenance Engineer – Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns or interruptions, escalating where necessary.
- Drive continuous improvement by reviewing current processes and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality.
