About the Company
We are working with a market leading Overhead Crane business who have over 50 years\’ experience in the lifting equipment sector. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Field Service and LOLER Engineer with knowledge and experience of electrical and/or mechanical service work to join their expanding team.
As a Field Service and LOLER Engineer, you will be responsible for inspections, repairs, maintenance and modernisation of all overhead cranes, hoists and lifting equipment.

Field Service and LOLER Engineer – Requirements

  • Previous specialist experience of OHTCs is essential, ideally with knowledge of Overhead / Gantry cranes supplied by major global manufacturers (Tower crane experience alone would not be sufficient)
  • Must be a competent industrial electrician and/or mechanically biased and apprentice trained (NVQ level 3 or above)
  • Must be able to work on your own, as part of the Service Department or lead a team of engineers depending on the nature of the jobs, duration, and location
  • The individual should be self-motivated, responsible, prepared to travel throughout the UK and will be expected to work some unsociable hours
  • Willingness to undergo security clearance if required
