About the Company

Our client is an established independent agriculture business looking for a Maintenance Electrical Engineer to join their team due to ongoing growth. The business is a historic animal and livestock feed manufacturer with centuries of experience. You will be part of a small, close-knit team of Maintenance Engineers responsible for several milling and processing sites across the Cheshire area. The company is family-owned, has a great culture, and offers plenty of additional earnings through overtime, projects, and callouts. The role is a shift position requiring a flexible approach:

  • Week 1 - Mon Fri (Early)
  • Week 2 - Mon Fri (Late)
  • Week 3 - Wed Sun (Day)

Electrical Maintenance Engineer Requirements

  • Completed apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering
  • 17/18th Edition of Regulations qualification
  • Familiarity with the industrial environment

Electrical Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all electrical maintenance for 5 sites across Cheshire
  • Working through PPM and reactive/breakdown calls
  • Involved in CAPEX projects involving new equipment, upgrades to PLC, and net zero projects
  • Work on motors, pumps, conveyors, mills, and other heavy process equipment
  • Knowledge of coding industrial PLCs 11kv and above
