Concrete Finisher – Construction Belfast Up to £14.00 per hour About the company We are working with a specialist manual materials company with a strong brand across the UK & Ireland who are seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher to join their growing team. Concrete Finisher The Rewards Salary up to £14.00 per hour (£29,000 per annum) Working hours between 32 48 hours Mon – Fri (8:00am – 17:00pm) – with the requirement of 6am/7am start on occasion including Saturdays Overtime available Concrete Finisher Requirements Must have previous experience within a manufacturing or construction industry Previous experience working in precast concrete Ability to read technical/construction drawings Experience with hand/air and power tools Good understanding of Health & Safety at work Experience in civil engineering related projects desirable Counterbalance forklift licence or overhead crane licence – desirable Concrete Finisher Responsibilities Fill blowholes and smooth external edges to specified finish grades Ensure the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools Repair or replace damaged sections of precast structures Clean and smooth chipped edges and stone rub to remove excess Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure the concrete surface Waterproofing, damp-proofing, and restoring concrete surfaces About Us Detail2Recruitment acts as an employment agency in respect of this position.
