About the company
We\’re looking for a Trainee Generator Engineer to join our busy depot in Grays, Essex.
In this entry level position, you will receive on-the-job training in a live hire-depot environment, designed to give you all the tools required to start a long career in engineering.
You will work closely with our foreman and service engineers, working through 10 specifically designed modules with a view to progressing into a fully qualified Field Service Engineer.

Assisting the Depot Foreman in servicing equipment ready for hire, receiving on the job training and support with a view to progressing into a Service Engineer role once qualified. Once the necessary training is provided, responsibilities as a Service Engineer will include:
Servicing Equipment – both in depots and out on site
Fault finding
Mechanical and Electrical repairs
Genset Synchronisation
Completing all paperwork associated with equipment maintenance – service sheets, PDI sheets etc.
