Quality Inspector β Rooftop Solar PV β Remote (UK) β Up to Β£48,000 We\βre on the lookout for an experienced Quality Inspector to oversee the construction quality and compliance of rooftop solar PV installations across our clients\β UK project portfolio. You will ensure that the systems are installed in accordance with design, manufacturer requirements, and industry best practice. You\βll be playing a key role in maintaining installation standards and supporting continuous improvement across delivery teams. Quality Inspector β The Details Remote (UK-based) β regular travel across the UK, with 1-2 visits per month to the London office Company vehicle/vehicle allowance Fuel card/mileage reimbursement Accommodation costs are covered when staying away Expense reimbursement for meals whilst travelling Opportunity to travel across Europe 25 days of Annual Leave + Bank Holidays Collaborative team environment Quality Inspector β Requirements & Responsibilities Min. 5 years\β experience in the Solar PV industry, with strong knowledge of roof-mounted PV systems Must be a qualified Engineer / Electrician (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds 2391 / relevant Engineering degree) Willingness to travel extensively across the UK (2-4 nights per week as required) Desirable: Experience with European installation standards Desirable: MCS, NICEIC, or equivalent accreditation experience Desirable: CSCS, SSSTS, or other relevant H&S qualifications Conduct on-site quality inspections at various stages of construction Verify compliance with electrical, structural, and H&S standards Produce inspection reports and correction action recommendations Work closely with the Engineering manager and Senior Project Manager, as well as liaising with site teams, Subcontractors and Site Managers Support training and mentoring of site teams on quality and installation standards Full UK driving licence This position offers a competitive salary, benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.
