We are working with a Manufacturing business looking to recruit an experienced Purchasing Administrator. Purchasing Administrator - Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Manage purchasing and ordering of packaging, raw materials, and consumables
  • Handle supplier invoice queries and maintain accurate purchase documentation
  • Process order acknowledgements, delivery notes, and purchase orders
  • Arrange delivery and handling of raw materials, including export documentation
  • Support stock control processes, including assisting with stock takes and reconciliation
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers
  • Maintain and update the approved supplier list
  • Book in/out raw materials, packaging, and finished goods
  • Support the Head of Nutrition/Buying with ad-hoc purchasing and admin tasks

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar purchasing or administrative role

Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office

Excellent organisational and time management abilities

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Proactive approach, with a drive to improve processes and deliver results

Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused attitude
