Purchasing Administrator - Responsibilities & Requirements
- Manage purchasing and ordering of packaging, raw materials, and consumables
- Handle supplier invoice queries and maintain accurate purchase documentation
- Process order acknowledgements, delivery notes, and purchase orders
- Arrange delivery and handling of raw materials, including export documentation
- Support stock control processes, including assisting with stock takes and reconciliation
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers
- Maintain and update the approved supplier list
- Book in/out raw materials, packaging, and finished goods
- Support the Head of Nutrition/Buying with ad-hoc purchasing and admin tasks
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar purchasing or administrative role
Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Proactive approach, with a drive to improve processes and deliver results
Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused attitude
