Key Account Operator – Freight Forwarding – Liverpool – Up to £35,000.\\n\\nAbout the Company\\n\\nThe client is based in Liverpool, they are looking to add a Key Account Operator to their team due to growth. A UK based client with multiple sites across the UK.\\n\\nKey Account Operator – The Rewards \\nSalary up to £35,000 \\nHybrid working 1 day from home \\nCompany pension Scheme \\nTraining and career development Key Account Operator – Requirements \\nPrevious experience working for either a freight forwarder or a shipping line \\nKnowledge of Cargowise an advantage but full training will be given \\nKnowledge of UK Port Systems (CNS & Destin8) \\nKnowledge of Import and export process and CHIEF/CDS. Key Account Operator – Responsibilities \\nTo act as a key contact operationally for UK Key Account customers managed by the Key Account Team and to build relationships based on exceptional customer service standards.

\\nThe current role is predominately sea imports and exports , deep sea and short sea, with options for road and other modes when required. \\nTo place and manage both import and export bookings (as required) with suppliers (Ocean Carriers, Hauliers, Rail Operators etc) as requested by the commercial account manager, creating related jobs in our system (Cargowise) and maintaining accurate records. \\nTo ensure all processes are completed within the customers agreed KPI’s, this including the below: \\nOn Time Booking Confirmation \\nOn Time VGM and Customs Submission ( in house customs team utilised) \\nOn Time Documentation \\nAccurate and On Time Invoicing In relation to UK and EU Exports: \\nManaging container loadings, communicating late runner’s and proactively resolving issues.

\\nCompleting VGM upon loading and submitting UCR’s to the carrier \\nPrepare and issue B/L’s and invoices within time guidelines. In relation to UK Imports: \\nManaging or overseas agents in relation to carrier nomination and bookings. \\nImports customs clearances \\nManaging UK door deliveries, communicating late runners and proactively resolving issues.

\\nEnsure data accuracy in our system to ensure tracking and analytical data is correct, managing and maintaining tracking information in via the customers preferred method of communication. \\nAll duties to be undertaken with reference to Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) procedures and work instructions. \\nEnsuring all processes follow the SOP as implemented by the KAM, ensuring any changes or amendments required to the process are highlighted in order for the document to be accurately maintained.
