About the Role
Our client is rolling out a new company wide Learning Management System (LMS) called Learning Pool to replace their current platform. They\'re looking for an organised and content focused training professional to join on a \'temp to perm\' basis to help them build engaging, user-friendly content and support their internal training teams as they launch.
This is not a typical content creation role, nor is it a training delivery role - their subject matter experts and training team will supply the content, most of which is already in place from the previous system. Your role is to translate the existing content into interactive, impactful online learning modules, adding them to the new e-learning platform.
eLearning Technical Training Coordinator - The Details
Contract: 3 days per week, 4 month initial contract
Rate: Up to £200 per day (outside IR35)
Location: Hybrid - home-based with occasional travel to Newcastle and some UK sites
Start Date: ASAP Working Arrangements
Hybrid working with a heavy home-based element.
Travel requirements will vary depending on rollout stage — some weeks may involve no travel, others may involve various days on site (all travel and accommodation expensed).
Laptop provided. eLearning Technical Training Coordinator - Key Responsibilities
Content Building (c. 75% of role):
Take existing learning content and add it into the new e-learning platform.
Design the style of the learning module (e.g. multiple-choice questions, videos, radial options) that make the content engaging and easy to navigate.
Ensure mandatory training modules (initially 20 modules) are built and ready for launch.
Training Support (c. 25% of role):
Provide technical support during \"train-the-trainer\" sessions with the regional trainers.
Act as the go-to person for system questions during training rollouts (you won\'t be expected to deliver training yourself).
Support central and regional teams during launch phases, including attending training sessions when needed for support purposes only. What You\'ll Bring
Experience using Learning Pool and/or Adapt Builder (desirable but not essential if you can quickly learn new systems).
A good understanding of instructional design principles — how to turn raw content into engaging eLearning rather than simply uploading documents.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively.
Flexibility to occasionally travel to Newcastle and UK sites during rollout phases (expenses reimbursed). Why Join Us
This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of a high-profile LMS rollout, working closely with our leadership team. You\'ll gain hands-on experience with Learning Pool and Adapt Builder and play a key part in shaping how thousands of staff access training.
A permanent version of this role is expected to follow later in the first quarter of 2026. The successful contractor will be well placed to apply should they desire.
