About the company
Our client is a family-run business with four specialist food manufacturing sites across the UK. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll maintain and improve site equipment and machinery to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient production. You'll carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and installations.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Days) - Responsibilities
- Provide both reactive and planned maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment
- Follow a detailed planned maintenance schedule to ensure smooth production
- Undertake fabrication work, including MIG welding, machine installation, servicing, and general maintenance
- Work with PLC-controlled equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics, and steam boilers in a high-speed production environment
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and to the highest standards
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Days) - Requirements
- Experienced in a similar role within a production environment
- Electrically biased multi-skilled engineer (time-served preferred)
- Educated to HNC or City & Guilds standard, or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities
- Broad electrical knowledge, particularly in manufacturing or feed milling
