Air Freight Export Operator – Freight Forwarding – Manchester – Up to £35,000\\n  \\n About the Company\\n  \\n Our client is a multimodal freight forwarder who are looking to add Air Freight Export Operator to their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Air Export operator to further their career.\\n  \\n Air Freight Export Operator – The Details\\n \\nSalary up to £35,000 \\nBenefits \\nGreat training and development opportunities Air Freight Export Operator – Requirements \\n \\nPrevious experience working for a freight forwarder \\nExperience working within Air Export \\nExperienced with completing air freight documentation \\nAny experience with customs clearance documentation is a bonus but not essential Air Freight Export Operator – Responsibilities \\n \\nProviding quotations to clients for Air Freight export \\nBooking of shipments with airlines and overseas offices. \\nDealing directly with, oversea offices, carriers and the airlines global sales agents for pricing and shipment updates \\nCreating and loading new shipments onto company systems \\nMaintaining and updating company systems \\nRegularly advising clients of the status of current shipments \\nIssuing collection & delivery instructions to the appropriate transport vendor \\nRaising sales invoices according to the prescribed company procedure.
\\nRaising Duty/VAT invoices according to the prescribed company procedure where applicable. \\nAccruing for and passing purchase invoices according to the prescribed company procedure. \\nFiling of completed job paperwork.
