We are working with a specialist engineering business providing installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair services for overhead and industrial lifting equipment across a wide range of sectors. With a strong focus on safety, compliance, and reliability, they support clients in keeping critical lifting operations running efficiently and safely.

They are seeking an Overhead Crane Engineer with knowledge and experience of electrical and/or mechanical service work to join their expanding team. You will be responsible for inspections, repairs and maintenance of all overhead cranes and lifting equipment.

  • 8am - 4pm

Role + Requirements:

  • Must have a min. of 3 years' industry experience
  • Must have experience in electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical engineering
  • Preferable experience with 3-phase 415v motors, 110v/48v control systems, squirrel cage and wound rotor motors, contractor and relay control circuits, stop/start and reset circuits
  • Carry out installation, servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and repairs on overhead cranes and lifting equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults
  • Carry out breakdown call-outs
  • Make sure that all tasks are completed safely and in-line with industry standards
  • The ability to work at heights responsibly
  • Good interpersonal skills for customer relations
  • Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to overcome technical challenges
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as per business requirements
  • Full UK driving license
