Responsibilities
- Travel regularly to different locations across Cumbria to maintain and repair generators ranging from 20 KVA to 1250 KVA and other equipment within the range.
- Provide on-site service to customers, identify and document machine damage, and keep accurate service and maintenance records.
- Communicate effectively with the Line Manager and customers as required to keep them informed.

Requirements
- Completed servicing on generators of a minimum 20 KVA, ideally up to 1250 KVA, with demonstrable fault finding and repair experience within this range.
- Strong understanding of electrical principles and practices.
- Experience with solder techniques and equipment.
- Knowledge of system design principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with mechanical knowledge for system integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Prior experience in the generator industry or similar.
- Ability to work as part of a team and support colleagues.
- Flexible and self-motivated; willing to embrace training opportunities and may require staying away from home.
- Great communication skills — verbal and written.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
- Effective planning and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- A valid driving licence with no more than 6 points.
