Reporting to the Digital Portfolio Manager, you will take end-to-end ownership of a defined cluster of digital products within DNV's portfolio. You will be accountable for commercial performance, product direction, and technical outcomes, while operating at a level of detail appropriate for products that are actively evolving.
This role combines product leadership with practical execution. You will work across the full product lifecycle: clarifying problems, shaping solutions, setting priorities, and ensuring delivery through a mix of internal teams and external partners. You will work closely with engineering, security, and architecture roles; filling gaps and resolving blockers that may arise; and regularly engage with stakeholders across business, domain, and operational teams.
As part of a growing and ambitious product function, you'll also play a key role in defining how products are managed at DNV. With a broad and dynamic scope from day one, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape both the product direction and your own development over time.
What you'll do:
- Product Ownership & Delivery
- Own and maintain product roadmaps, backlogs, and release plans aligned to business objectives and customer needs.
- Develop and maintain business cases, risk registers, and benefit realisation tracking for your product cluster.
- Lead product discovery, customer interviews, stakeholder engagement, market research, to define and validate priorities.
- Define clear acceptance criteria and lead UAT in partnership with engineering and quality teams.
- Monitor product health metrics and drive continuous improvement through data-informed iteration.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage directly with customers, internal service lines, and senior stakeholders to identify needs and communicate progress.
- Partner with engineering teams to translate product requirements into deliverable specifications.
- Represent your products in portfolio-level governance, reporting outcomes, risks and roadmap dependencies.
- Function Building
- Support the Digital Portfolio Manager in establishing product governance frameworks, templates, and ways of working.
- Contribute to portfolio-level reporting and KPI tracking, ensuring visibility across leadership.
- Champion best practices across engineering and commercial teams in the region.
