Position Summary

Vinea Care is a top Homecare company.

We are NOT a care home provider; our Care Assistants visit our clients in their own homes across the Hertfordshire community.

You will be making a big difference to people’s lives by offering specialist help including palliative care, enablement care and support to children and adults.

Rota Requirements & Working Hours

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week.

Availability Requirements: Must be ready to work 6 days a week, with one dedicated day off, to be able to complete this 40 hours.

Shift Patterns: Domiciliary care is early starts and late finishes. You must be available to work shifts between 06:00 AM and 10:00 PM.

Pay & Compensation

• Hourly Rate

£13.32 per hour (Standard calls) to £13.64 per hour (Complex/HCC100 clients)

• Mileage

£0.45 per mile for travel between clients.

  • Travel Time: Travel time and waiting time are paid at your hourly pay rate.
  • Cell Phone and Software: The company will supply a cell phone and all software needed.
  • Main Responsibilities
  • Driving between client’s houses in Hertfordshire to give punctual, reliable care.
  • Providing dignified personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting and grooming) to adults and children.
  • Work with clients in palliative and enablement care.
  • Safe and accurate medication administration and updating digital MAR charts.
  • Assisting with mobility and safe moving and handling (including using hoists if trained).
  • Light housework and cooking.
  • What We Require From You
  • Valid UK Driving Licence and own reliable vehicle (Mandatory).
  • Relocation to Hertfordshire prior to your first shift (if you are not currently local).
  • Exceptional reliability and strong work ethic.
  • Polite, professional and courteous manner, both over the telephone and in person.
  • Previous experience is an advantage but complete training will be given to the suitable individual.
