We are searching for a Software Engineer (Gen AI) to assist in building the next generation of AI-driven business solutions. In this position, you will be tasked with designing and developing scalable apps based on state-of-the-art AI models, influencing how organisations run and innovate. You will collaborate closely with Gen AI scientists, UX designers, and cross-functional partners to build enterprise-grade AI solutions with world-class governance, performance, and dependability.
Principal accountabilities:
- Design and develop scalable full-stack Gen AI apps (e.g., AI agents, agentic workflows, RAG pipelines)
- Build and deploy Python-based microservices for orchestration and integration with Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Work with AI/ML teams to embed LLMs, RAG, and multi-modal AI into applications
- Develop and manage RESTful APIs for smooth system interaction
- Apply design patterns and contemporary full-stack development approaches
- Connect AI solutions to enterprise systems using APIs and standardised architectures
- Work with engineers, data teams, and designers to deliver end-to-end AI experiences
- Build assessment frameworks, validation processes, and guardrails for safe and reliable AI deployment
- Ensure compliance with AI governance, bias mitigation, and safety requirements
Skills & Experience Required:
- Strong familiarity with Python and microservices architecture
- Practical experience with Gen AI technologies (LLMs, RAG, AI agents)
- Experience in building full stack applications (React/Node.js or equivalent)
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and how to integrate systems
- Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience in AI/ML model integration and deployment
- Knowledge of scalable system design and performance tuning
- Eligibility for UK Visa sponsorship
