We are seeking reliable, detail‑oriented individuals to join our Laboratory Shipping Team in a hands‑on morning packing role. This is an active position ideal for someone who appreciates routine, scheduled work, remaining occupied and on their feet for the length of the shift.
Hours of Work
Morning shift: 8.00am – 12.00pm Monday‑Friday.
Position Summary
Responsible for the preparation, packing and shipment of customer samples in line with internal SOPs and IATA rules. This is a structured process‑oriented profession where accuracy, consistency and attention to detail are a must.
- Pack boxes and samples for shipment as per SOPs and IATA requirements
- Participate in daily morning shipping briefings and document particular client requirements
- Verify lot numbers, matrix information and sample amounts against shipping papers accurately
- Scan and send documents to appropriate team members
- Monitor dry ice usage and storage
- Create and maintain a tidy, safe and orderly working environment
- Refill packing consumables and supplies
Other Duties
Any other duties as reasonably asked by the line manager to support the smooth running of the organization.
Candidate Requirements – Must Have
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Excellent attention to detail and correctness

- Previous experience in a laboratory or warehouse would be advantageous but not needed as complete training will be given
