We are looking to recruit a Shop Supervisor who will take a proactive and dedicated approach to the role. You will be responsible for the day to day operations of our retail properties. This is a key leadership position responsible for operational efficiency, superior customer service, staff performance management and supporting continued business growth. The successful candidate will have demonstrated leadership, organisational and communication abilities with a hands‑on approach to retail operations. Full training will be given.
Main Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily retail staff activities
- Adhere to company rules, procedures and health
- Offer regular performance feedback
- Reporting to directors on a daily basis regarding sales, purchases, wastage and general shop operations
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance productivity and overall efficiency
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or retail management position
- Strong team management and leadership abilities
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to perform in a fast‑paced retail setting under pressure
- Commercial awareness and operational attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of IT and accounting
- Practical, flexible and customer‑oriented mindset
Hours of Working
8 hour shifts. Flexibility may be needed to suit commercial needs.
